Toronto is filled with classic and modern architecture which is blended through out the city's landmarks, universities and downtown area.
As I photograph Toronto's urban architecture I always keep in mind that the goal is to create a black and white print with a presence of history and elegance. There are now hundreds of my black and white pictures on the walls of homes and businesses in Toronto and beyond. The Reflections Series

While working on my Toronto architecture collection I have grown interested in the reflections created by window displays and architectural glass structures . An  interesting and artistic scene is created with combination of a buildings glass, the item or items in the window and the reflection of the surrounding street. A black and white picture seems best suited to the mystery associated with this collection of these scenes I call "Reflections". Prints will be in edition of 25 . -AB-

Black and White Architectural Photography

There's something calming about architectural photography and I find it especially so when the pictures are done in black and white. I spend a lot of time searching for buildings that I feel will produce a creative photograph and suitable photo artwork that I would be proud of. Sometimes multiple visits are needed to capture the photographic art or vision that I'm trying to show through my fine art photography. Architecture in black and white is subject matter for my current photo art project called The Zen Metropolis. These pictures can also be viewed in the main picture gallery  -AB-

Life On The Canal Gallery

I personally found this farming area relaxing and a great place for a photographer to find an endless supply of subjects to photograph. In this gallery you will find black and white landscape photography and documentary style photography related to the Holland Marsh in Ontario Canada. I will add more images to this collection down the road but for now there are 31 B & W images in the gallery. -AB-
